We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Business Administration Apprentice. This is a unique opportunity supporting local councils by working within our planning team and you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day tasks relating to planning applications. You will be carrying out research on planning and development applications on behalf of the team and diligently supporting the team and processing of applications through administration and preparation of the correct documents.
You will also be working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship to support your development in this role. There will be the opportunity to attend training at Gloucestershire College to enhance your Apprenticeship experience as well as on the job training.
You will need…
- To have GCSE Level 9 - 4 (formerly A* to C) in at least Maths and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills – Communicates effectively and confidently
- Good level of IT and keyboard skills with a confident attitude to learn new systems
- Good written skills and communication
- Problem solving skills – the desire to find an answer and confidence to seek help when appropriate
- Understand the importance of prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
