Licensing (COVID-19) Internship

You will be working within our fast-paced Licensing team and take lead on the high priority Pavement Licensing Regime, helping to ensure safe business practice is being carried out across the three councils. You will visit different areas of the Councils and help deliver a critical piece of legislation prescribed by Central Government assisting businesses during the pandemic.
About the role…
You will be supporting local communities and taking on a key role helping tackle the pandemic;
- Conducting Licensing checks for businesses across the Council areas
- Conduct site visits to businesses across the districts identifying businesses in need of licences
- Process consultations and collate applications for determination
This is a new placement role covering the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and West Oxfordshire – covering large areas of natural beauty and famed scenery.
You will need…
- To be working towards or achieved in the last 18 months a degree in a relevant subject
- Be able to juggle multiple pieces of work and to deliver on tight deadlines
